Plan the day
List your foundation activities — bench work the whole class can do at once — then add the capacity-limited stations: one scanner, two mills. Each station knows how many chairs it has.
Start with one tap
One tap assigns the entire class and the lab is running. Students join once with a 6-character class code — K7M2QD — and their seat, and stay enrolled all term.
Run it from the board
Sign work off by tapping a student's progress badge. When people finish, SimLabView proposes who moves where — you confirm, and everyone's phone updates.

Capacity-aware planning
Foundations take unlimited students; stations are capped at their real capacity. The board shows 2/2 and “full” at a glance.
One clear card per student
A student's phone shows exactly one thing: “you're doing X.” They can mark it complete, request a station, or raise a hand for help.
A help queue that escalates
Raised hands land in a live queue with wait times that turn amber, then red. Staff tap “on my way” to claim, then resolve.
Faculty and TA accounts
Give teaching staff the board view and help queue, and grant per-class sign-off so they can clear students at their stations.
